I am listing this cool truck for a friend, all work on it was performed by him. This is a cool 50 Ford custom hotrod pickup truck built by the owner. The cab is an all steel 50 pickup chopped 3 inches with a 52 wide rear window installed. Its also been channeled 6 inches. All 4 fenders are Fairlane fiberglas as are the smoothie running boards. There is no door glass, the builder didnt want it but the window cranks/regulators are included if the new owner wants to install glass. The entire box is handmade by the owner as is the tailgate, the handmade skirts are removable, all bodywork including the chop is professional quality, in fact while the truck is painted in Satin black and looks great there would be very little finish body work needed to paint it any color you like. The chassis is a completely restored 93 ford Ranger including the independent front end with all new power disc brakes, the rear has flipped shackles to lower the stance a bit. The power comes from a 302 Mercury motor with a 2bbl carb and headers which runs and sound excellent although the owner feels it may need a rebuild soon due to low oil pressure at hot idle. The trans is a 4spd auto with overdrive and it works flawlessly. The interior is compltely redone and has custom touches. There is also an AM/FM CD stereo mounted inside the glove box, there is no heat or air . This truck runs and drives comfortably, smooth, straight and true and looks and sound like a true HOT ROD should.
