Top chopped, doors reversed, tilt front end (original steel), recessed firewall, Model A bed (?). Mild 350 Chevy, 4-Speed, 4:56 posi 10 bolt rear. Modified frame, parallel front and rear leaf springs, front disc brakes, drum rears; early Ford split wishbone traction bars. All lights (including turn signals) work, all gauges except speedometer work, windshield wiper works. Ready to drive! Fresh tune-up, oil change, new cheater slicks. Runs and drives as an old Gasser should! Lots of Fun! I purchased it a few years ago to satisfy a Gasser urge and have used it sparingly ever since. It has been together for a number of years but I do not know the history of the truck or of any engine modifications as I have never had it apart. The replacement of the ’57 Chevy rear end it came with, with a 4:56 Posi 10 bolt and new cheater slicks are the only things I have had apart. It has never needed anything! It always starts, drives, doesn’t overheat and stops well, and doesn’t leak any fluids. This is not a show car. Yes, you will find minor rust and bondo.
