Vehicle Detail

1949 Ford Country Squire Station Wagon. (Woody). Up for bid is my 1949 Ford Woody. I have been collecting 1949 Ford Station Wagon parts in preparation for a restoration. I have almost all of the hard to find Station Wagon parts. The 1949 Woody comes with too many parts to list. The following are some of the parts: 1. Two Station Wagon Tail-light Assemblies. 2. New Right and Left "Custom" front fender trim. 3. New tailgate interior chrome strips. 4. Simulated side panels which attach to the body/wood. 5. Two extra front fenders complete with fender splash pans. 6. Two front bumpers and front bumper guards. 7. All the Woody interior window frames and some of the uniques chrome sliding window trim. The parts list is two lengthy to write down everything. For example it has a 1949 Ford radio, an extra 49 Ford dash complete with all gauges. Extra 49 ford rims, front suspension, including the springs. New steel rockers for a station wagon. Please look closely at the photos. There are several parts that go with the Woody that are not included in the photos. The reserve price is low and I have a clear title in my name. On the negative side, the Woody is missing the engine and transmission and most of the wood is gone. The floors are rusty, but I have original steel floor boards for the entire floor area that go with the Station Wagon. The tailgate has rust and the rear bumper is bent. The rear bumper, which is unique to the station wagon, is complete and repairable. There is an extra rear bumper for a 1949 Ford sedan, but does not fit a station wagon. It has the front seats and the middle seat, but is missing the third seat. On the positive side, the body has a few minor dents, but is straight. The doors and tailgate align as they should. The Station Wagon parts are almost complete and very restorable. I have too many cars and I need to sell the Woody and all of the extra parts to make room in my garage. Too many projects and not enough money. If you have any questions, please email or give me a call. My home phone number (which is still attached to the kitchen wall) is (801) 745-0599. I'm retired and I have the time to gladly answer any of your questions. I will try to describe the good and the bad accurately. I want the new owner to be completely satisfied with the Woody. If you have less than 10 positive feedbacks in your Ebay feedback score, please email or give me a call before bidding. I want this to be a good, straightforward auction on a very restorable old Ford Woody. An Ebay member asked about shipping all of the parts. I will label and pack all of the spare parts and place them in the car. The extra fenders, bumpers, front splash pan will be put in the back and I will box the rest and label them. Good luck bidding.
