1987 Jeep Wrangler I bought this in 2004 off Ebay flew to New York City & drove it home 2200 miles to Rapid City South Dakota Decided to rid the 258 six of the One Barrel? carb for a Fuel Injected 4.0 Cherokee Head (I Read online it gives 60 Horsepower over Stock) I had my local machine shop redo the whole motor (Paid 1500.00) I planned on going with the complete Cherokee Drivetrain since this tranny was a 3 speed & I wanted the 4 speed of OD Automatic of the Cherokee. Even had custom driveshafts built (400.00) Thats how it has sat around here for 6? years now. I have other interests & Goals & no time for rebuilding Jeeps (I figure It's easier to buy a Wrangler with a Six & Automatic with OD) This needs the dash re-assembled or has plenty of nice parts if thats what you need the body is pretty nice (& Solid I don't see any rust coming through) Good Hardtop & doors etc. Has nice 10" x 15 Aluminum Wheels & 31x 10.50 Tires Someone has welded the nut on the front right axle (kinda crude) but thats how it was when I got it home & took off the front wheel. I am spring cleaning & thought I will see if anyone needs a 87 Wrangler I'll sell this Jeep & move on. I think everything dash-wise is in the Jeep has a roll bar & decent Original seats Black Buckets & a rear Black factory seat. I have a set of chrome flames decals I paid a 100.00 dollars for never installed but will throw them in.
