This is a 1986 Chevy Short Bed 1500. I bought this truck when I had a company work truck and drove my work truck everywhere I went. This was never meant to be a daily driver, although it has become one, and I just cant afford it anymore, I need something more practical, so yes, I am open for trades. No junk though, I am looking for a Chevy Colorado or Tundra. I had every intention of putting it in my garage and working on it here and there. I have always wanted one of these trucks. The problem is that living in Iowa they have all rusted away. So I bought this truck on Ebay and drove it all the way back from Santa Barbara California. When I bought the truck it was the color it is now, it had a rebuilt Marshal 350 engine (that I have the receipt for) I think it has around 10 thousand miles on the bottom of the engine. I have sense put the vortex heads on the engine with the corvette springs it has also been ported and polished. Also I replaced the 700r4 with a new one. It was beefed up, and is rated for up to 600 horse power and is still under warranty. I have well over 9,000.00 invested in this truck and bought only the best for this truck. I will list most of the new parts I have put on the truck in the last 2 years. People always say "Don't let this pass you by." With this truck you may want to let this pass you by... I understand that this truck isn't for everyone. If you wife hates having you in the garage, don't buy this truck. If you are scared to change a set of brake pads, don't buy this truck. If you plan on parting out, or trashing this truck, please don't buy it. I had every intention of eventually giving this truck to my son, and working on it with him when he got old enough, so I really want this truck to go to someone who will love it as much as I have. So you can be the guy that takes advantage of my loss. You will not find a truck nicer in this area. there is no rust, and no bondo anywhere on this truck. This truck is solid. the only things that aren't new on the truck is the rear end, and the transfer case but both seem to be completely solid. This truck is in excellent condition but still could use some surface touch ups. Also buyer is responsible for delivery I will deliver the vehicle with-in 50 miles of any shipper or whom ever you would like.
