Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T with 94,441 miles and a BAD TRANSMISSION that needs to be replaced. The car is being sold AS IS with a NO RESERVE auction. I have the title in hand. Please note that you will not be able to drive this car home. You will need to either tow it or put it on a trailer. The car will start and move, but it is not road worthy in its current condition. The buyer will be responsible for all repairs to get the car operable. This car would also be a viable parts car if you choose to go that option, but given its overall condition it may be a good investment to fix the transmission and have it be a daily driver. In addition to needing the transmission replaced, the following are noteworthy: There is a tear in the drivers seat (see pictures where i have a penny next to it to give you an idea of the size). The windshield has a crack that is 2 feet long along the bottom in the middle (see picture). The crack has been stable without changing in size for 4 years. I chose to not replace it. It would be up to the purchaser if they want to replace it. The outside of the vehicle has typical scratches and dings that you would expect on a car with 94,441 miles. However, none of them are significant as you can see from the pictures. Front left turn signal light bulb is burned out (just the bulb needs to be replaced). The following repairs have recently been completed: Timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt: 77,000 milesCamshaft position sensor, front brake disks and pads: 80,000 milesLeft axle assembly, right axle inner boot, standard AC service 85,000 milesRadiator, thermostat assembly 93,000 milesPlease note: Clean titleAll electronic equipment (except the front left turn signal) work as they did when the vehicle was new. The motor in this car works as designed and has plenty of life left. The car will be due for an oil change/standard service in 650 more miles after being repaired. The remaining tread life on the tires is ~25-30%. To see all of the features of this car please see the original window sticker from the dealer in the pictures. A few highlights include: Color: Ming Blue 9 speaker 6-disc CD player with integrated cassette Sport package: 17-inch cast alloy wheels, sport suspensionPower moonroofPremium packagePerforated leatherette upholstery Automatic transmission (needs to be replaced by the purchaser). The purchaser is responsible for any and all repairs associated with this car. The purchaser is also responsible for any and all shipping costs associated with the car. Purchaser is also responsible for any title/registration fees. If you have questions ask before you bid. Once the auction is won I will need a $300 non-refundable paypal deposit within 48 hours to hold the car.On Apr-11-11 at 09:25:33 PDT, seller added the following information: For sale is a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T with 94,441 miles and a BAD TRANSMISSION that needs to be replaced.
