1961 Oldsmobile Super "88" Convertible - Fairly Solid & Mostly Complete: This is a fairly solid and mostly complete 1961 Oldsmobile Super "88" Convertible. The car is in need of a full restoration, but is a very rare and hard to find ragtop. It is equipped with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, Automoatic Transmission, and a 394 V-8 engine. This is an original Kansas car, and consequently is solid overall. There is some rust in the floors due to a deteriorated top leaking. There are aftermarket floor pans available that can be welded in. The trunk pan has only minor rust through in a few spots. The well pan is rock solid, as are the rockers and inner rockers. There is some minor rust in the passenger rear quarter, and the body has some dings an dents. The drivetrain is in the car, but I have not tried to turn it over. The only parts that I know are missing is the radiator and generator. The interior is complete, but is rough from being weathered and will need full restoration, but all of the parts appear to be present. I was intending on restoring the car, but I have more projects than time, so I have decided to let it go. The car is on 4 tires that hold air, and it rolls and steers fine. This is a rare care that is fairly solid and complete, but needs a full restoration, and deserves to be restored to its former glory. I do not have a title for this, so it will be sold with a Bill of Sale only. A title can be obtained through various title services. I have sold several cars overseas, so International bidders feel free to participate.
