For auction is our 1976 Volkswagen Standard Beetle. It has a 1600cc dual port engine with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection. It starts up and runs well. It does not burn oil or smoke at all. The interior is in fair condition, and the floor pans are good. The passenger side pan is not rusted, even by the battery. The drivers side pan has been patched at the drivers foot well, and does not let in water. The heater channels are not rusted. It has good tires, good brakes, a new Interstate battery, and a newer clutch. It has a JVC CD player with a Memphis Car Audio form fitted speaker box behind the rear seat. We recently had over $500 worth of work completed by a 30 year VW mechanic. I recently put a new set of spark plug wires on as well. This is my wifes car and we recently got a new car, so we no longer need her bug. I've got my 65 1300 bug to take to shows, so rather than see this car sit, we'd like to see it go to good use.
