Up for auction is a 1988 GXSR 1100, bike is garage kept, last owner had bike for 15 years, sat unused for most, adult owned and driven. Vintage GSXR's are making a comeback and this example is a fine bike with period correct mods. K & N filter stacks, 4-1 Exhaust / Silencer, Dynojet mods, and a carburation heat shield. New Battery. Bike runs, drives and shifts great, no known issues. Included with the sale is an extra Corbin seat and original tank Bra. Paint and plastic are in good cond, please see pics for the blemishes and scrapes. Scrapes on both lower sides, crack in seat cowl, crack in left lower plastic where it meets the bolt. Some factory rounded bolts have been replaced with hex bolts. Original paint and period tires. Some faded areas of paint where seat meets plastic. I can assist in shipping by taking bike to a close by shipping doc if necessary. Buyer is soley responsible for the pickup or shipping of the bike, however I will not pressure you to do so right away, can wait 1-2 weeks as long as payment clears by due date. Bike has a clear PA title. Tires still have plenty of tread left. I reserve the right to end auction early as the bike is for sale locally also. Due within 48 hours of the auction close is a deposit of $500 non refundable by PayPal. I will also take the balance on PayPal if it is easier for the buyer. The Reserve is set at a very fair price!!! Lets Face it, todays modern bikes make more power but this bike has that old school low end grunt. If you are around 40 yrs old, you remember like I do, wanting this bike as a teen but not being able to afford the insurance due to the double premium clause on the 1100.
