Vehicle Detail

This is a No Reserve auction I drive this truck every weekend to the mountains. It has been a good friend but I am forced to sell it. I took the pictures while coming down from a hard day in the high country. It was dirty to say the least. It has 124.000 actual miles. Wheels are factory AMC Turbo mags with almost new 33 X 9.50 Wild Country radials. It has a fairly new Rough Country 4" lift. The engine is an AMC 360 that runs great. I have a new kit for the 2 BBL carb but it don't need it yet. I just replaced the starter and alternator. I recently had new exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers installed. Pipes exit under the rear step bumper. Last summer I rebuilt the Dana 44 front axle. It has new ball joints, tie rods and bearings. A couple years ago the TH400 transmission was rebuilt with new torque converter. The Quadra-trac 4WD works great and has never given me any problem. Brakes are good and won't need replaced for a long time. The interior is in great condition except for the area where I sit. It has a split in the seat cover. I have a new aftermarket cover for it. The air needs to be retro-fitted to the new freon and dosen't work right now. The cruise control has a vacuum leak somewhere and has quit working. The AM radio blew the speaker last fall. It works though. I couldn't bring myself to butcher the dash for a new stereo. I just roll down the windows and listen to the pipes and that's better than any stereo. All the gauges work and the owner's manual is still in the glove compartment. The only rust is along the lower seam on the bed. You can see it in the pictures. There is some rust in one spot under the floor mat on the passenger side floorboard. It dosen't appear to be rusted through. There is a little surface rust where the paint has been scratched. All the flat glass is good and the windshield is perfect. Selling this truck is the hardest thing I've done. It has been well cared for and well maintained. It is worth a lot more than the asking price. I am requiring a $500.00 deposit by Paypal within 48 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 7 days. This Jeep is sold as-is and where it is. You must pick it up within two weeks (unless we agree on a longer time). If you want it shipped you have to arrange it and pay for it. If you are the high bidder the truck is yours. I have sold two vehicles recently and had the buyer get "Buyers Remorse" at the last minute. They give me some lame excuse and don't pay. Please ask any questions before you bid. Thanks for looking!
