Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my cherry, 2004 Hayden Edition RC51. I am the second owner. I purchased the bike in mid-summer, 2007 from the original owner, who purchased it at a dealer in Queensbury, NY as a leftover. I bought the bike almost 4 years ago with 1955 miles and it now has 2282. That's approx 80 miles a year! The first owner and I have both stored the bike in a dry, climate controlled garage/basement. I've used fuel stabilizer and made sure at least one tank of gas was changed annually. This is the fourth Honda RC51 I've owned and it idles, runs, shifts and rides like an absolute charm. It is an amazing example example of a non-modified bike. Just amazing. I have really enjoyed riding this bike as such, even compared the other RC51s I've owned, all of which have been highly modified. There are no performance modifications to the bike other than the Jardine slipons. The flapper mod, PAIR mod and soft-rev mod have not been done (as far as I can tell). The bike has never been down on my watch and I really doubt it was down on the first owner. I've had the side plastics off and there is absolutely no small, minute evidence of any crash or oopsy-daisy. The only "issues" (and I use that term very loosely, just to fully disclose ) are pictured. There is a very small amount of rubbing on the stickers on the swingarm. All very minor, but I wanted to disclose for whatever it's worth. Take a look at the pictures and video. I would recommend changing the oil on the bike before the riding season fully commences. Take a look at the tires and you can see how "hard" this bike has been ridden! Clean and clear title in my name, ready to be signed over to the winning bidder. Sold as-is, no warranty expressed or implied. **there is no Buy-It-Now price** I will assist in shipping the bike anywhere the buyer chooses, but any costs associated are the responsibility of the buyer. I've purchased and shipped bikes from across the country w/o issue. If paying by PayPal, please plan on including the 3% fee they charge. I would prefer cash or a certified check. $500 NON-refundable deposit due within 48 hrs of auction close. Please feel free to ask any questions you have about the bike. The bike is also listed locally, so auction may be cancelled. Good luck, there is no reserve on the bike. It's worth every penny. These are insane, great bikes with a very high fun factor!
