My truck was going great until I took it to my mechanic because I was hearing a "klunk" in the fornt end. He told me the frame is cracked/rusted and needs to be welded. The bad section is around the steering box. I have included pictures. I don't want to put any money into this truck. I think I owe myself another one after 14 years. Someone (a welder) can fix this problem and have a great work truck. Or maybe you just want it for parts. It can be driven, I just wouldn't suggest going very far. As you can see from the photos, the body has some issues. I show pictures of 1 side, the other side is the same. It needs new tires. The engine (5.4L) runs great and the transmission shifts perfectly. I have this truck listed locally also and if it sells I'll be taking it off eBay.
