DIESEL 5.7 motor. Please google this motor as it is undesireable to some. The overall condition of this car is excellent. It has some light light scratches and some paint touch ups but it is very presentable. It is a california car with no no no rust. Not fixed rust, no rust. Everything I have tried works. Signals, lights, radio, a/c, temperature control, seats, wipers, everything.............except the trunk closing operation. It closes manually but not automatically. I purchased this car for my father who lives in Canada. I should have called him first as he bought a car the same week. Bad for me but he found a Phaeton. Now for this car. The diesel motor has a bad wrap in my opinion, but I want you to make an educated decision. It smokes more than modern diesels and there is an oil smell at times. It doesn't seem to leak, but I can smell oil. Other than that, it is a clean well taken care of car. As I drove it home I was honked at and greeted with smiles at every intersection. I live in California and planned to deliver it to Detroit. I had no issue with hopping into it and beginning my trip this weekend until I found out my father had purchased another car. I don't think this car needs anything but a new owner but it is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY implied or offered. I want the new buyer to be happy with the car and will allow the purchaser to inspect before completing the transaction. Please don't waste my time and I will not waste yours. I don't like selling things and I don't want any remorse from the buyer so I will honestly tell you anything you need to know about the car. I'm not broke and don't need the money, but I'm not a cadillac guy and don't need the car either. If you hate the diesel idea, there are companies out there that do gas conversions, but not me. If you do like diesels, it gets great mileage and runs smoothly. Radio has an ipod hook up (that's the wire laying on the ground on the passenger side) and can be hidden or disconnected easily. The stock radio is in the trunk and all wires and connections were done without cutting anything so reinstall would be a sinch. This is a great car that I meant for a family member and deserves a good home. Bid away. I also believe the mileage to be correct and original, but cannot be absolutely sure so I recommend you believe it has rolled over or is incorrect. All things point to this car having original mileage.
