Let me start by saying; I honestly think this is one of the nicest 65’ Mustang Convertibles for sale. This is an original sheet-metal one repaint car, painted the original-code J, Ragoon Red (acrylic enamel). If you look closely you will see a part number stamped in just about every sheet metal panel-Fenders, Rockers, Quarters, Firewall….etc. This car was professionally restored to original specifications. Retaining all the original glass (minus one windshield replacement because of glass scratches), this mustang is as original as they come. One of the best characteristics this car offers is the way it runs and drives. The original 289 which has never been removed from the car does not smoke a bit of oil ANYTIME. It’s a very smooth running motor and has excellent power. The original 3-speed manual transmission shifts smooth. The interior and body/paint (see my reflection in picture) are a strong 9/10. The pictures (not too great) don’t depict how nice the car really is. The body gaps are perfect. Bumpers are perfect. The doors-hood-trunk lid shut exactly the way they should, effortless with that magical clap rust free cars make. Body is very straight with no body defects at all!!! Bottoms of doors are totally rust/bondo free. All seams are clean, present, and look great. The interior is dazzling with NO rips or cracks in anything at all. Seat covers are perfect. The white top is perfect as well. This is a potential trophy winning car and a very sound investment grade car. The car has been upgraded with the following options: Rally Pac (clock ticks), FACTORY AM/FM radio and Center Console. The car has a power top which operates very well. The car brakes and steers very well. I would drive this car anywhere. Close attention to detail was paid when restoring this car. The trunk is detailed with original jack/tools in correct bag, spare tire, bag with fender cover and dash cover. No short cuts were taken and no expenses were spared. When restoring this car, genuine Ford parts were located and used whenever available. The car has 93,xxx miles on it. It is sold with a Florida title. I also have a driver quality 65’ Mustang for sale (pictured) with a boat load of original paperwork. That car is a #’s Matching 289-Automatic. Up for auction is a stunning 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible that is a #’s matching car. Let me start by saying; I honestly think this is one of the nicest 65’ Mustang Convertibles for sale. This is an original sheet-metal one repaint car, painted the original-code J, Ragoon Red (acrylic enamel). If you look closely you will see a part number stamped in just about every sheet metal panel-Fenders, Rockers, Quarters, Firewall….etc. This car was professionally restored to original specifications. Retaining all the original glass (minus one windshield replacement because of glass scratches), this mustang is as original as they come.

One of the best characteristics this car offers is the way it runs and drives. The original 289 which has never been removed from the car does not smoke a bit of oil ANYTIME. It’s a very smooth running motor and has excellent power. The original 3-speed manual transmission shifts smooth.

The interior and body/paint (see my reflection in picture) are a strong 9/10. The pictures (not too great) don’t depict how nice the car really is. The body gaps are perfect. Bumpers are perfect. The doors-hood-trunk lid shut exactly the way they should, effortless with that magical clap rust free cars make. Body is very straight with no body defects at all!!! Bottoms of doors are totally rust/bondo free. All seams are clean, present, and look great. The interior is dazzling with NO rips or cracks in anything at all. Seat covers are perfect. The white top is perfect as well. This is a potential trophy winning car and a very sound investment grade car.

The car has been upgraded with the following options: Rally Pac (clock ticks), FACTORY AM/FM radio and Center Console. The car has a power top which operates very well. The car brakes and steers very well. I would drive this car anywhere. Close attention to detail was paid when restoring this car. The trunk is detailed with original jack/tools in correct bag, spare tire, bag with fender cover and dash cover. No short cuts were taken and no expenses were spared. When restoring this car, genuine Ford parts were located and used whenever available. The car has 93,xxx miles on it. It is sold with a Florida title.
