Whether you need a bike for commuting and great gas mileage, collecting, or as a first bike, this is a great choice! Bike includes new battery, new rectifier, and new fork seals with fluid. Tires have good tread with very light weather checking. Fresh oil change and new sparkplugs. Noteworthy original items: Paint, exhaust pipes, seat, side covers, emblems, and tool kit. This bike has been pampered. All electrics work as intended. Engine runs smooth and strong, clutch and transmission work well. Does not smoke or use oil, no leaks. There is pitting and scuffs on the chrome, the tank is dinged in a couple of spots and is faded on top with a stain. The tank has been sealed at some point in the past to prevent rust. The little cover over the high beam indicator light is missing. The rectifier is new, but not original, as I installed a new upgraded solid state unit from Oregon Motorcycle Parts. Frame has been touch up painted and tach has a ding in it. Check out the pictures, it is sweet, I just want to keep the condition completely honest. Title says 1972 and vin shows 1971, this was common on the old Asian bikes, manufactured in 71, imported and titled in 72. Odometer on title shows exempt due to age, I have no reason to doubt the 15212 original miles shown on the original bike odometer.
