Please look over all details photos I have uploaded prior to bidding. ___________________________________ Was sitting in the original owner's garage in the city of Eagle Rock, California. Covered with a cover with plenty of dust. It was well hidden away & has not been moved out of the garage since 1989. Making this a True California Garaged Find at No Reserve. A original & unrestored 1965 Chevorlet Impala True Super Sport. Numbers Matching #'s 283 V8 2 barrel Powerglide Automatic. Purchased new at "Anglus Chevrolet Company" off of N. Figueroa st. in Los Angeles. Spent it's entire life in Southern California with it's original Black plates. Factory options include power steering, power brakes, rear antenna, tinted all glass & a paded dash. Miles have turned over once,114k original miles. Very Rare factory color is "Evening Orchid" (P-P Paint) with Black SS vinyl Buckets. Beautiful one year only color that makes this Impala most desirable to restore. It was repainted once at the same Chevrolet dealer it was purchased at in 1972, Gulf Green. Conditon remains very original except one repaint. All original solid panels & undercarriage. Floors, rockers & frame structre are in beautiful shape, never been altered. Dont take my word on it, take a look at the detail photos. You would only expect this sort of body of a California Chevy. All trim, bumpers & chrome are in place & original. Trunk compartment remains the original spatter paint & GM rubber mat. Common moisture rust under the mat. The exterior is unrestored. The interior 100% bone stock original. From the recess star headliner to the SS console. Very complete and in place. In good shape for being 45 years old but it does shows it wear from being it. Owner stating it was driven into the garage around 89'ish. The 283 V8 been sitting for over 22 years. Engine will need to be gone and will not turn over. The drivetrain is complete & original under the hood, down to the Rochester 2 bbl. Overall, this would make for a excellent candiate for a restoration project. You're dealing with a California solid body that was kept in the garage for the last 22 years. A true Collector will appreciate this Impala. Dont waste your time looking for a modify Impala or a clone to restore. This is the one you can not miss out on. On my personal view, I would keep it as a "garage find". Get it going and keep it in original condtion, wheel covers & all. There was a few service records from the first few years from the Chevrolet dealer as well the paint slip from 1972.
