This is a 71 renegade body with 74 title and vin plate as original title was lost. This is a project Jeep with all parts for good reassembly many new parts. 1970 was the introduction of the Renegade and they made approx 200 that year in 71 they produced 600. The renegade models did not have a tailgate and it is very rare to find one thats solid and not abused. Originally this jeep came in factory orange paint with renagade decals but was repainted at some point. This cj5 has the dauntless v6 226 cu in and repotedly produces 150hp it is a strong good running engine and does not burn oil. It comes with a 2 yr old Best soft top with soft doors and zipper windows. Black vintage after market seats in excellent shape including stock rear seat in black from a levi addition. It has a factory roll bar and a complete new still in the box body bushing and hardware kit, new plastic glove box insert, all new marker lights and correct round tail lights, foam &covers for roll bar. The brakes have been re done with new shoes and wheel cyl, and the clutch is in great shape,it also has newer 31x10.5 radials on newer jeep wheels. It has a stock three speed tranny which operates as it should. Chrome headlight rings,chrome wiper motor cover,chrome glovebox door and grab bar,chrome hood hinges new chrome mirrors.Also have new visors. To much to list new elec fuel pump etc. Everything is here to build a great vintage jeep i just dont have the time to finish it. The body has a small dent in center of hood and a small dent in drivers side front of fender. The floor boards have galvanized metal riveted in and bottom of toolbox is gone and will need to be repaired. Other things that will need attention is a small 1" hole on drivers front quarter and a little rust under tailight mounting area. The frame and shackle areas are solid and there are no defects in frame that i detect.There are also 2 underbody mount crossmembers which will require some repair. Overall a great canidate for a frame off as i intended or slap her back together and just have fun. You will need a new battery and are welcome to come inspect it hear her run etc you will not be able to drive it however as it is seatless currently. Also forgot it has new headman headers with ball n socket type pipe connects and have two good mufflers with turn out in front of wheels. I also have a set of wagon wheels with 33x12.5 tires if you are off road only you pick which set you want. This vehichle is for sale locally and i reserve the right to sell to first cash buyer.
