This auction is for a 1970 Chevy Nova 2 door coupe. This is a V-8, I believe it is a stock 350, numbers do not match the VIN for the 307, and it has a power-glide transmission. It has an aluminum intake, chrome tall valve covers, chrome air-cleaner, holley carb, factory exhaust manifolds, dual exhaust that exits out the rear, 10 bolt open differential, gear unknown probably original. It has 15" Camaro wheels all the way around. Tires have pretty good tread. It does run and drive as is, but I consider this a project car. Tune-up may help as well. As shown in the pictures the drivers side rear quarter panel and the tail panel are the rusted or damaged areas of the body. The floors, trunk and inner fender wells are pretty solid. The Nova does have some hail dings on the top surfaces mainly on the roof and deck lid. This would be a Great Project Car that you can drive as you work and it should be worth every dime invested being a classic year and style Nova. It is a non air, manual steering, manual drum brake car. It does have all good glass that is factory tinted. Front door panels and headliner are removed. Seats were recovered some years ago and have no tears but do show fading. Winning Bidder is responsible for arranging shipping and all costs associated with the same. I haven't driven it much myself as I recently traded for it. I did take it down the highway by my house this evening and it actually runs out smooth down the road at 60. I really think with a tune-up and some carb tuning it would do pretty good as a driver. It runs a little rough in gear since I turned the idle down but again a fresh tune-up should bring it around. This is still a point type ignition. Someone apparently had trouble with the neutral safety switch and instead of replacing or adjusting it they hooked up a button to start.
