For sale is a 1996 Automatic Honda civic Ex. The car is in running condition but does need some work. The car needs a catalytic converter sometime in the near future as well as some new tires, the tires currently all hold air and are drive-able but the tire tread leaves something to be desired. We just replaced the windshield and the rack and pinion less than six months ago, head gasket was replaced less than 4,000 miles ago. Distributor was replaced less than six months ago. The check engine light is on, most likely due to the O2 sensor in the catalytic converter being fried. Car runs well despite her current cat and tires situation. Car is located in Allentown NJ Update: I almost forgot to mention that sometime during one of the repairs The cruise control was somehow disconnected, the parts are all there and the switches all function but the cruise control does not engage. On Apr-03-11 at 18:15:48 PDT, seller added the following information: The catalytic converter needs to be changed sooner than later, after extended driving as the cat gets hotter it will cause the car to choke. Also the knock sensor was broken when the head-gasket was repaired, there is no engine knock but the sensor does set off the trouble code. The car failed inspection for a false positive for the knock sensor ONLY. Everything else passed.
