Vehicle Detail
As always No Reserve. I bought this Jeep to fix up. It needs very little to be in great condition. It runs and drives but smokes a little when you first start it (valve seals?). I haven't licensed it so I don't drive it on the road. The guy I bought it from was driving it daily. The old tags expire this month. The engine is an AMC 360 with a TH400 automatic transmission. The Jeep transfer case is part time 4 wheel drive with manual front locking hubs. The tranny works as it should but the parking pawl only works when you don't expect it to. The 4 wheel drive works great (it is a Jeep after all). The wheels are original 6" x 16" Jeeps. The tires ain't much. Power steering works too good (one finger steering). Glass is all good. The interior is OK. It had swivel seats out of a van. I bonked my head one too many times so I bought a pair of buckets and a consol out of a full sized Cherokee. The drivers seat is worn through so I bought a pair of seat covers. I haven't put'em on yet. The body is solid and ain't rusted bad enough to mention. The bed has some surface rust inside. It's an original 40 year old Jeep. If you have less than 25 feedbacks, or a negative, please contact me before bidding, otherwise I will cancel your bid. I am selling this old Jeep as-is and where it is. Come pick it up. I always get the same question; Can I fly in and drive it home to Timbuktu? I can't guarantee that! You can give it a try. I've driven alot worse across country but I have a Ford pickup that won't drive past an Auto Zone. If you want it shipped you will have to arrange and pay for it. Ask any questions before you bid. When you win the bid the truck is yours. (I will not be Bunced again). I am requiring a $200.00 deposit through Paypal. That must be paid within 48 hours of end of auction. Full payment is due within 7 days. Thanks for looking!
