This car has the original 430-4 motor (365 HP) and the original transmission. The car features an automatic 3 speed transmission, power windows, power steering, power seats, factory air conditioning, cruise control, and is fully loaded with all sorts of nifty little factory features. It also has brand new Cooper tires on the original rally wheels, and new dual exhaust and muffler. It doesn't leak or burn any oil or other fluids. All of the fluids look great. It runs super strong and rides like a dream. The car has had only 3 owners including myself. The guy who purchased the car new owned it up until only a few years ago. It has always been kept garaged and very well maintained. The car starts right up even in cold weather. The alignment is on and the steering is tight. The brakes work great and it does not pull to one side when braking. The motor has very good compression and there are no knocks. It will pass emissions and inspection. The only things that would need to be fixed are; the driver side front seat has two 4 inch seams that are starting to come unstitched (no tears in the vinyl itself). The air conditioning needs to be recharged. The rear seat belts will need to be bolted down, they are all there. The vacuum system that raise and lower the headlights is not working, not sure if the lines are not sealed properly or if they need new cannisters (this year Riviera is notorious for the vacuum headlights not working). All and all, nothing too costly is in need of repair. The car was purchased new from the dealer in Bountiful, Utah. It comes with all of the original paper work including; the original owner's manual and warranty card. It still has the original glass, original interior, original stereo and 8 track player, and the original motor and tranny. The interior is in fabulous condition... the dash does not have one single crack, the headliner is like new, the seats are still in awesome condition for the year, and the body has almost no rust. The vinyl hardtop is original and also is in perfect condition with no tears or bubbles. The car is very straight and has great lines. You must see this car in person to fully appreciate how great of condition that it's in for being 42 years old. The car does need just a little minor tlc here and there to make perfect, but overall it is in fantastic condition and is very reliable as a daily driver.
