Untouched & Unrestored 1973 Metalic Blue Corvette convertible complete with the optional hard top . Here is what I can tell you about this 1973 Corvette as I know it . I am a Antique picker and was working with a families estate about 2 weeks ago and decided to purchase this car discovered in the garage of the home. When I picked up the car it needed a battery so I purchased a new battery and it started and found out it had not been started since last year. The car has its original number matching 350 ingine and the car is a automatic . It needs a complete restoration to make it a dependable car . Needs a ingine rebuild as it reads 89,000 miles and runs but sounds a little rough . Needs all new belts , seals, some rewiring, body bushings , interior needs much attention as my pictures show and all the normal stuff you need to do with one for this age . I do not think its ever had a overall done since it was purchased by this second owner when they purchased it in 1978. The body is in nice condition and shows no old repairs. The front bomper cover needs replacing as its crumbling and never seem to hold up over time I understand . Head lights need the motors replaced also . The body has a little piece broken near the bottom behind the front lower wheel aprox 3 x 2 inches but a easy thing to fix You can see the factory joint lines on this body as you want to see. The white convertible top needs replacement as its not in good shape but frame is . Hard top looks like its ok just needs no seal rubber I am sure to make it rain proof . Anyway this car is a great project for some one to fix up into a Corvette convertible dream car.
