I am Selling this vehicle for my brother-in-law. Here is a classic 1968 V.W. Convertible with only 44,000 original miles. This a very nice running and driving car that was part of a family collection. There are over $8,000.00 in receipts of work done to this car since 2005 including a complete engine overhall, clutch, front end rebuild, tires, and complete brake sytem overhall including master and wheel cylinder rebuilds, all brake lines and hoses, brake linings and related hardware. This car was restored in the 1980's including new paint, bumpers, new rubber and other related items. I believe the top is original and in nice condition. There is a parade boot for the top. The interior is excellent, the running boards are after market and rusted, new running boards, still in the box go with the car. There is very little if any rust in the body of this car. Everything in this car works as new, right down to every little light bulb. The car was Zebarted when restored and the paint was nicely done (original color) including disassembly and re-assembly with new fender welting, rubber gaskets and trim. There are some minor nicks and dings to the paint that are easily repairable. The windows were not properly aligned after the restoration and should be done for correct fit. This is the nicest V.W. I have ever driven and believe the car is 100% correct. I will be glad to take detailed pictures for a serious bidder.
