This is a vintage in original condition 1979 cr 125 Honda Elsinore that was the machine that bridged the gap between the old school and the modern machines with its long travel suspension. I bought this bike brand new in 1980 it was a dealer left over from 1979 .I rode it for a few months then sold it to a friend who rode it for awhile then sold it himself .About three and a half years ago the bike resurfaced.So I bought it and was going to restore it .But three knee surgerys later I have lost interest .I am selling to make space in my garage for a volkswagen project .This would be an awsome bike with very little work .It runs strong the only known issue is the suspension is soft may need rebuilt .As far as cosmetic it has a dent on each side of the tank and the rear fender has a crack thats all of the bad .Now for the good .The rear tire has 80 % or more of the tread .The front tire and tube are brand new (both tires match Cheng Shin ) Also has new Scott grips new front brake shoes .Brand new foam air element carb was just taken apart an cleaned and all fuel lines replaced. Also had new brake pedal bushing and new rear wheel bearing .The sprockets are in great shape .All in all this is a very clean unmolested vintage cr 125 Elsinore .
