This car is being sold "as is". This is a Classic 1984 Jaguar XJS. The color is cobalt blue. I am the 2nd owner of this car. No rust, always garaged. In 1984, the base sticker price for one of these V-12's was about $35,000. This car comes with fog lights, a spoiler, premium jaguar mesh alloy wheel covers, premium jaguar stereo, leather seats, and the power sun-roof. This was Jaguar's Luxury Sports model. This car comes with a Heritage Certificate from the Jaguar Trust. This is a certificate from the Jaguar Trust that must be requested by the owner for a fee. (The information on the certificate includes the build date, dispatch date, what dealership the vehicle was 1st dispatched too, engine number, transmission number, gearbox number, ect....). Most jaguars online do not have this certificate. This car, to my knowledge is completely original, and has all of it's original manuals and stickers. Things that don't work correctly are the cruise control, which may have been disconnected. The left side electric mirror works when it wants to, as does the up and down working of the electric antenna on the rear of the car; could be a short in the circuit. Mechanically, this is a nice running car; which is what most people want to know. New battery and new tires put on last year. An in-line fuel filter installed for better fuel flow. I have checked the different Jaguar registries online and can only find 4 Jaguar XJS's that are V-12's built in 1984 that are cobalt blue; of those 4 cars...only this one was equipped with a power sun-roof. I am "not" stating this is a "one-of-a-kind"; this is simply what I have found through my own research. Most Jaguar XJS's were built with a V-6; V-12's are pretty rare. This car does not have any dents or dings, no accidents; car fax available. This car was serviced and inspected by a local foreign car mechanic and was found to be in sound condition. This is a beautiful car. The "auto check" score of "60" denotes an "Upper Premium" score. Let me know if you have any questions.
