You are bidding on a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 2dr hardtop with the orginal 327 v8 engine that had a full PAINT about 3 years ago. The paint on the car is very good but has 2 little bubbles on the lower passenger side quater panel and 2 or 3 around the edge of the hood and my x ran a key down the drivers side and on the hood there are some small chips in the paint .All of the chrome comes with the car car and some of it has had the finish removed for polishing. the straighting of the trim is complete. I Purchased this car from north Carolina about 6 years ago. I replaced the trunk pan which was rotted out but the rest of the under side of this car is solid The car sat outside for a while and floors filled up with water and got rusty but are still solid. It is a great running and driving car a blast to drive and turns many heads. it would make a great show car or just a good collector car that you can get out and drive anywhere u would want to go!! The car has been taken apart and the restoration process has been started The only reason Im selling this car is I just lost interest in doing this type of work. I do have the car for sale locally so in case of sale I can end the bidding! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!On Mar-26-11 at 20:20:42 PDT, seller added the following information: OK it Appears that this is a bit unclear this car has ALL SS TRIM single molding down side (327 Tach on dash Buckets console all SS Trim) and appears to be all factory trim but the Vin does not reflect SS I am under the impression that there were SS optioned impalas in 1964 that did not say reflect such in the Vin. if you want an SS Vin then this is not the car for you.
