Audio Player Copyright 2009 Ver2.04 You are bidding on a freshly restored back-to-original 1965 13 Window Microbus Hardtop Deluxe, with zero miles on the clock. This is an original Texas bus that I’ve owned for seven years – a great base vehicle that was always a driver and had all of its original seating, trim and deluxe appointments intact when I found it here in dry North Texas. I took great care in providing this special machine with a thorough ground up restoration – new rubber everywhere, and new mechanicals – new upgraded engine, new freeway flyer transmission, Safari windows, new paint and new original-style interior handcrafted by Lenny Copp and his crew at West Coast Classic Restorations. It starts, runs and handles better than new. It affords the VW enthusiast an opportunity to experience and enjoy that genuine vintage feel – the authentic vintage Microbus ride and drive with upgraded mechanicals, that only a fresh restoration with faithful attention to originality and detail can provide. As an impressive, appreciating collectible, the correctness and originality of this Microbus restoration is excellent.
