1970 Chevelle SS Tribute Exterior Paint is approx 2 years old. Color is GM pewter with viper red stripes. Body was stripped to bare metal, new quarters and outer wheelhouses professionally installed, new Goodmark cowl induction hood and hinges. Body was epoxy primered, poly primered, block sand and painted with base coat/clear coat. Body is very straight. Hood has a small imperfection from hood hinge during installation. Paint is driver quality with some orange peel in top of fenders. All panel gaps are good. Trunk lid has small imperfection that has been touched up. Front bumper is nice original. New exterior trim includes: rear bumper and ss pad, wheel well mouldings, drip rail moulding, front and rear window mouldings, door handles and locksets, hood pins and exhaust tips, all new badges except for "chevelle" badge on grill. Grill and trim is good. Bezels are good. All glass is good, windshield has some minor pitting. All exterior lighting works. The front clip was removed during painting and the frame, core support and firewall were blasted and painted along with new inner fenders and battery tray being installed. Cowl induction hood needs underhood assembly to make function. Interior Has SS dash installed with tach. Bucket seats. New interior trim includes: SS Steering wheel, seat covers, door panels, carpet, headliner, package tray, sail panels, door weather stripping, door handles, seat trim, window cranks and sill plates. Seat belts are all intact and have been cleaned. Dash components work but speedometer needs to be recalibrated to trans. 6500 rpm tach. Dash cap has small crack. In dash pioneer cd installed but not hooked up, no speakers installed but wire was run. Sound deadener/heat shield was installed before carpet went in. No console but new shifter assembly, cable and horse shoe shifter. Aftermarket temp, oil and battery guages. Interior needs to have the kick panels and front armrests painted and installed. Also missing side window weatherstripping. Drivetrain Motor is fresh 454 bored to .30 over. Professionally built and balanced. Two bolt mains, SCAT crank, forged rods, forged pistons. Lunati VOODOO 284 hyd cam. Rebuilt 049 oval port heads with oversized valves, new springs, new pushrods, new comp cam roller tipped rockers and minor port work. Edlebrock Performer RPM intake, new Holley 750 vs carb. new Pertronics Flame thrower HEI dist. Coated headers. new 8MM wires, NGK plugs. New flexplate, mech. fuel pump/filter, and all new hoses and cables. Also new motor and trans mounts. Motor is assembled with all ARP fasteners including all visible fasteners which are either stainless or coated. Motor runs very strong and has less than 1000 miles. New alternator, voltage regulator, powermaster mini starter and Optima dry cell battery. New water pump, 4 core radiator, new dual trans coolers. Trans is T400 which has been rebuilt with kevlar bands and B+M shift kit. Has a small pan leak. Original driveshaft with new u-joints and Denny's HD trans yoke. Original 10 bolt open rear with 3:31 gears. Car will come with a 12 bolt with a posi carrier. 12 bolt needs to be blasted,painted and have new brake components installed. I believe the 12 bolt is a 3 series carrier but not certain. Exhaust is newer 2 1/2" aluminized with crossover and turbo mufflers. Sounds very good but not real loud like a flowmaster setup. New exhaust tips. Suspension The suspension is mostly original, new rear gas shocks installed, new front gas shocks not installed. The car tracks well. Brakes are manual drums and stop well. Power steering pump was blasted and painted and new hoses installed. Wipers are installed but need a wiper motor to make functional. Wiring harness is very good and has been rewrapped. No horn. Trunk is super solid, has been epoxy primered and spattered painted. Included trunk mat. New weatherstripping. No spare or jack. I have a spare rim that I'll include if needed. Wheels are 17", tires are decent. Frame and floors are solid, no holes. Still most of the factory undercoating intact. The car has always been stored inside and covered since I have owned it.
