The car is modestly beat up from the outside. The paint looks much worse than it is, however, ultimately a paint job would be a nice choice. These Corrados were painted at the factory with one-stage paint, so a good buff will bring much of the shine back, (I have already buffed out the car about 50% of the way). The front right fender looks to have been repainted and the color match isn't perfect. Damage to the body is minimal, other than a few small dents here and there. NO surface rust or rot at all. Besides the paint, there are a few other points of mention. The engine is most likely in need of a head gasket. A mechanic friend of mine has had 7 Corrados and is 90% sure that it was just the gasket the blew when the car overheated (new cooling system was installed while troubleshooting the issue). THE CAR DOES NO RUN AND IS SOLD AS IS. The spoiler is stuck in a midway position. Torn E-Brake Handle Needs new Hood Cable. The vehicle must go and is being sold as is, my mechanic friend offered me $1200 and claims that it can be working and daily drivable for less than $1000 for sure.... Eitherway this is the perfect car for a new project with a creat looking interior and lots of extra goodies.
