Re-listed due to non paying bidder. In 1991 and 1992 there were 3000 of these cars imported from Japan. Each numbered 1/2000 or 1/1000 for the 1991 and 1992 years respectively. This car was initially used as an internal company car and does not list the VR1 option package (badge) on the file and so it is a "pre-badge car, of which there are 8 or 9. The clear coat has begun to fade on the roof. Drivers' seat has a small tear but otherwise the interior looks great. I can supply interior pictures for those interested. There are also a few small (nickel sized) dings on the car. Good compression 155 all round. Oil changed every 4-5,000 miles with Mobil 1. The previous owner did most of the work on the car less than 40,000 miles ago (in 2008) however the car jumped timing in September last year. Since then I have spent well over $3,000 getting the car to to the condition it is in today including new ECU and turbo and rebuild. I have receipts dating back to 2008 for around $6,000 that has been put into this car. This car has only been driven one winter since I've owned it and is rust free. The previous owner also did not drive it in the winter.
