Vehicle Detail
you are looking at 1 of my project cars, this is a very clean car for the year and age. i found this a couple years ago here in nashville behind a house we were working near. after talking to owner he agreed to sell it to me. i towed it back to my shop, stored inside for awhile now. i replaced the carpet and seat covers, the head liner was removed (not by me) and all the trim is in the trunk i THINK but not sure, the vinal top was removed (not by me) and the trim might be in the trunk. lets just say there alot of STUFF in the trunk that came off the car. it runs VERY good, starts everytime, usually 3rd time cranking. the valve cover is leaking its not justa gasket its the cover its warped. shifts very firm almost shift kit, i didnt install it so i dont know for sure. it never overheated as far as i know, the muffler needs replaced. the tire are dry rooted they to need replaced. the dash is nice no cracks, no warping, very clean. this is a numbers matching SS block, the block itself has 12B592787 that matches vin tag and title, the casting letters are K01 24 CKD that is a good SS block. the rear end is 12 bolt original. this car was one of the lucky ones to get the ss block at the end of a great era. the monte is not a SS but the block is and original. these cars are getting harder to find original. these are great for donors if your restoring a chevelle ss, camaro ss, or corvette,. restored right the car would be worth the money. the 2 wings at key are gone but the key still works fine, the air is all there but it dosent work. the doors are very heavy and always wear out the door pins, i bought new replacement pins but dont know how they go on, those go with the car to. there is a dent by the pass. side head light, i tryed to picture that. again this is a 1972 chevrolet monte carlo, old vintage car that needs work, it runs, shifts , stops, heat, and all lights work, so its not a hard project to get going again, these cars make good, donors , low rider, donk, movie car, props, muscle car, cobra jet eaters, sleeper, mid life crisses, old youth back again. ask all questions thanks for looking and i might trade up or down ( CLEAN TENNESSEE TITLE ) all shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. international buyers contact me first, so we can work shipping and payment out.
