Vehicle Detail
1973 Honda CT90 - Mars Orange - good running condition. I took a lot of pictures so you can see the condition for yourself because descriptions are so subjective. It is a good looking bike that has normal nicks and and scratches from use - but not abuse. The front fender has a some dings, and someone welded the muffler to repair it. Muffler works fine, but new ones are still available if you wanted one. The wheels are very good, everything works on the bike - horn, headlight, brake light, speedometer. It has no turn signals. I'm not sure if it ever had turn signals, I have seen the 1973 (K4) model with and without them. It does have a handlebar switch for the signals. It has a new brand new battery and high quality tires, a recent carb rebuild, tank cleaned, new fuel lines and filters, valves and cam chain adjusted. It is ready for riding. It starts easily on a kick or two, and after a couple minutes of warming up it has a nice idle. It pulls very strong, and hits 40 mph easily (maybe faster but I didn't try). It is very fun to ride. It has the high/low 8 speed automatic clutch transmission. I bet it'll climb any hill. The bike has about 5000 miles and it sounds good and runs good, but there is some smoke noticeable when you rev the engine. If I kept it I would probably use it all summer and in the fall replace the rings (The parts to do this are under $100). I have sold a few bikes on ebay (reducing my collection) and I am very careful about how describe them, I want the buyer to be happy, and have no surprises. My feedback shows that. There is no title for the bike, I will fill out a bill of sale. Ask questions if you have them - I'd be happy to answer. I put what I think is a very reasonable buy it now and reserve. Good luck. I am located about 20 miles west of Baltimore, not far off of I-70. I will not prep the bike for shipping. Either your shipper can pick up the bike as is, or you can come pick it up yourself. Paypal deposit of $300 within 24 hours of the end of the auction and balance in cash at time of pickup, or allow a check to clear before the bike can be shipped.
