Vehicle Detail
I traded lawncare and snowplowing for this original, good condition, convertible Caddy in the summer of 2010. I am not going to invest any more into it. But I put an original gas tank from Arizona in, installed master cylinder and brakes, and new battery & wiring. Yes it needs TLC. The 502 motor runs and drives perfectly. It does need exhaust from the y-pipe back. It has a rusty frame from the rear tires back. That is why I had to do the fuel tank and sending unit and lines. The car is very solid. The last it has been registered and insured on the road was 1987. I cleaned the carb and got it running and drove it 15 miles or so in October 2010. It has been garage kept on jack stands since 1987. It will run and drive right now though. There is some body work done to the rear quarters and fender skirts. The car was painted a nice red but never buffed out or got a clear coat I think. It has no dings, dents, or scratches. I am not a body guy or a painter. The skirts were repaired but not painted. At least we got them. The convertible top works excellent but needs minor repair by the back window. Also no parade boot for the top to go into when down near trunk. Has a vented trunk. I believe it has all offered options from the factory. The red leather interior has cracking and could use attention. Also some sun fading on interior, not bad. Trying to be honest. 99% of all original parts are on the car. Please ask me anything you need to know. I am selling it as - is. I will only accept cash when picked up. My opinion is either put a few bucks into it and have one heck of a Caddy, or if you have time, part it out and make a lot of cash. Please email me at: Olyohh123@charter.net Thanks, Cory.
