2002 VW Jetta GLS TDI This auction is for a parts car that does not run. The engine threw a rod and has a hole in the block the size of a fist. It needs a new short block. If you have a ALH engine looking for a vehicle, then this is the car for you! The car was in perfect operating condition before the engine blew. There is the normal wear and tear for a car this old, but overall it is in very good contain. There is a dent on the rear passenger door/wheel well that can be seen in the photos. The lower passenger side grill was damaged when the tow hook was installed so I just threw it away. I only have the valet key. This Jetta Turbo Diesel has the following options! - Legendary 1.9L Turbo Diesel Engine  - Automatic Transmission - Monsoon CD Player - Aftermarket iPod adapter added - Ice Cold Air Conditioning - Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors - Cruise Control and Tilt Steering - Keyless Entry - Dual Airbags and Side Airbags - Alloy Wheels - Rear Defrost The fuel injector just had a new seal replacement and does not leak. The turbo and transmission were in perfect operating condition. A/C and heater were working great. I think that the car had about 135,000 miles on it, but the battery is dead so I can't check it right now.  Again, the only thing this car needs is a new short block. Everything else was fine. This car is offered as is with out any warrantee.
