1948 Studebaker M5 1/2 Ton Pickup Tk Is there someone who will give this old Studebaker "workhorse" a good home? I will offer this rare Studebaker pickup for sale at $1.00 Opening Bid/No Reserve~!!! I am downsizing my vehicle collection and would like this truck to go to someone who will appreciate it. For questions, email me or call Mike at 570-617-2376. Good Points: 1. Truck is PA state inspected, licensed, and insured! 2. It is a running, operating truck still used for local hauling. 3. Four brand new tires 4. Recent tune-up! 5. Brakes all rebuilt 6. 4 speed standard transmission - Truck will do 50-55 mph on open highway. 7. New turn signals added 8. Dependable - I have driven it on 50-100 mile trips with no issues. 9. Original 6 cylinder Studebaker flathead engine works fine! 10. Working heater - 6 volt system works fine! 11. Clear Pennsylvania title 12. Rare factory Grille Guard on the front! 13. Extra original dash with gauges in nicer condition included 14. Extra spare wheel Weak Points! 1. The truck was brush-painted with Rustoleum paint to preserve the body --- this is NO SHOW TRUCK! 2. Headlight switch works but is fickle 3. Truck does not burn oil but does drip oil after usage (it is a 63 year old truck!) 4. Some rust on the undercarriage but nothing major - see photos 5. Truck needs headliner and door panels - seat is only fair but usable 6. Glass showing some frosting around edges. 7. Speedometer and odometer no longer working. 8. Clutch still working fine but should be replaced in the future. If you are looking for a Show Truck, this is NOT your truck! If you are looking for a rare old truck that you can use and enjoy now and upgrade whenever, this is a good truck for you!
