Vehicle Detail

In case you noticed the itme number has changed a few times it is beacuse of some fake buys , I have had 3 people in the last few weeks buy and all were 0 feedback new members that day and then e-mails about sending a shipping company to handle transaction and money orders from out of country. This has been a horrible pain and sorry for any confusion to any real potential buyers out there. Tax Time is here !! - Time to get new ride / project for summer . Up for sale a 1977 Monza , I was going to keep this car and finish a few details as it is about 90-95% complete but as it goes things change and I am listing this once now at a reduced price and if it does not sell I will keep it in storage and finish the few items in the spring and then sell it. So here is your chance to save some money and do a litlte work over the winter and have it ready for srping driving. I will list as accuracte as possible and if you e-mail me I will answer all questions. First I bought this car from a guy and the story he gave me was it had been sitting in the garage since 1991 the year he bought it. You will see below the work I did to it to put it back together and get it ready to drive. I have not 100% finished it and it still has not been driven. This is a 1977 monza, however at some point about 1988 it was taken apart and a 1978-80 nose was but on and the car looks to have been taken from a maroon to the blue you see now. I have the color codes and the paint( looks like iroc camaro blue - code is GM 23, brt blue met. B/C ) the car looks great from 20' but up close you can see some flaws on the nose and tail the paint is chipping off. Looks like whomever painted it back then did not use the correct flex in the paint. You can see paint in all corners in and around the doors etc. Looks like even the windshield was removed when painted. The keystone rims I have not cleaned at all and they look like the normal black has been painted blue. The interior is in excellent condition but has 78-80 cloth seats, the rest of the interior is 77 correct and in excellent condition. Car DOES NOT have power steering , power brakes , air conditioning - but PS And PB can be added fairly easy, The dash was never cut up so you can put in an old style radio and dash pad is in very good condition. The door locks have been installed, and I know I have a front & rear emblem but are in fair condition. The Good / New Rebuilt 305 V-8 , numbers matching 1977 motor Rebuilt 350 turbo trans w/ stall convertor, new trans lines Eldelbrock Intake Holley Carb New Dual Timing Chain New Shorty Water pump New Plugs, wires , cap, rotor, etc. Custom powder coated air cleaner, valve covers, timing chain cover, oil pan - AIr cleaner is Edelbrock , timing chain cover has bowtie but you can't see it New flex plate New electric fuel pump New tachometer New front rotors , New front calipers , New front brakes, New rear wheel cylinders - ( not on car ) Exhaust with convertor all the way back as stock , with factory manifolds and factory motor & frame mounts re-man alternator, AC-Delco starter, plus more like I used the one piece oil pan gasket for the older motors, must better than the 4 pc design, new air cleaner, breather, etc. Interior is like new and carpet is new - correct for car and with insulation, has woodgrain dash and woodgrain trim on doors, factory shifter and center console but I did not have a woodgrain insert for the automatic. I added a tach but did not drill holes in the dash it is mounted along the console and bolted to the floor. this car appeared to have normal rust in floors and they have been replaced with heavy gauge steel to re-enforce as the factory had and then looks like sheet metal over top welded in and sealed. I would not have know if I did not replace the carpet. All fluids are new as it was just put together. Again any questions please ask. The Bad / Not finished Paint - again it looks good from 20' and in pics but it is chipping on the nose and tail gas gauge does not work speedometer was working during break in but may have broke the old cable - saw one on e-bay for $30 gas line rusted by LH rear and spliced in a hose to run motor but then brake line at same spot was rusted also leaking now. missing some of the plastic clips around windshield to hold trim on but I have the trim Rear Spoiler has a broken bolt Sunroof has broken latch on one side If I think of any more I will add but I have tried to be very detailed so you will not have any surprises, maybe too detailed but that is me . I am asking for just what I have into car and have it with no reserve, this will be a great little car when 100% finished. Anyone who is building or owns one knows I have more into this than I am asking and I am sure new owner will have alot of fun with it. If needed I will help with delivery or deliver up to 300 miles for $ 300.00 , now that is actual road miles - not a straight line distance. If a down payment is made I will hold car in storage for up to 60 days to allow you to make full payment , make delivery arraignments, etc. Car is inside dry garage.
