Vehicle Detail

Up for NO RESERVE auction, is my 1977 Chevy hot rod pickup truck. This truck has been my daily driver, since I put the new motor in. In this description, I will say that an item or part is "new", what that means is I installed it 7,000 miles ago, when I put in the new motor. I did a lot of work, all at once. Like I said, its my daily driver/hot rod. It always starts, and handles like a sports car. Please note: Truck has a Michigan title, but is located in Ventura, CA 93001. Here are the upgrades I have made to the truck in the past year or so: -New rebuilt Chevy 350 small block 4 bolt. The motor was built by a reputable company called: Ross Automotive Machine, Inc.1833 North Saginaw St.Lapeer, MI 48446810-667-300 The motor was dyno tested at 388 at 5000 rpm. The bore is 4.030", with rod lengths of 5.7". The total volume is 355.5, and the stroke is 3.464. The heads are rebuilt Corvette heads that have been ported and large valves installed. The intake valve diameter is 1.94" and the exhaust valve dia. is 1.6". The compression ratio of this motor is 9.50, and it is totally streetable. The cam that was installed is a comp 12-246-3. Motor has hydraulic lifters. I have a complete print out of the dyno sheet, that will come with the truck. I believe in taking care of my motors, so I took my time, and broke it in correctly. I only used Brad Penn break in oil, in the beginning, and have changed the oil 5 times already. If you take care of your motor early on, it will last you for a long, long time. -New Holley Carb 3310-New 1.75" stainless headers-Transmission was totally rebuilt, and upgraded with a shift kit. The company that rebuilt the transmission is another reputable company called: Vinsetta Garage27799 Woodward AveBerkley, MI 48072248-541-2040 -New gas tank and sending unit-Stainless steel brake lines-Bell tech lowering kit, front and rear 3/5 drop (did not cut the frame, or chop the front springs)-New front springs-New front brake pads, calipers, and rotors-New Wheel bearings-New Power steering gearbox-Newly rebuilt (last month) tilt column, which makes the truck feel like new-New U joints in drive shaft-New torque converter, although I would rather have one with a higher stall-Energy Suspension on the ENTIRE vehicle. Every grommet that they make, that fits this truck, is on it. Like I said, it drives like a sports car.-New Bosch starter-New Bosch Alternator-New Battery Things that I did to customize:-Painted the entire engine bay with Por15. Done when the motor was being swapped-Custom made an aluminum firewall pan, to help accent the motor (see pics)-Insulated the insides of the doors, and the ceiling-Had new floor pans professionally installed-installed an excellent condition dash pad-The truck was painted by the original owner, before me. The color is a really deep Teal.-He also installed a silverado bench seat Ok, here are the bad things about the truck: -Desperately needs a sound system-The interior needs to be finished. ( Although, I am including a ton of interior parts to help make the job easier)-The hood is bent, in the normal location. You can see from the pics, that I riveted supports on. -If you look at the pics, you will notice a couple of rust spots.-The frame is a bit rusty, but nothing severe enough to compromise strength.-missing speedo needle-Vent windows need to be replaced ( I am including replacements)-The truck really needs to be professionally tuned and dyno'ed. There is a TON of power in this thing, and it would be a shame not to have it running at its full potential. Understand, this is not a show truck. I refer to it as a drivable hot rod project. It runs great, and the motor stays cool. Its an excellent start to a really kick butt truck. I have invested over $10,000 in time an money into this. My loss is your gain. If your would like to talk about the truck, please call me 805-456-9800. Also, if you are the winning bidder, you must immediately deposit $500 into my paypal account. I would not hesitate to drive this truck across the country. I can help load, if you would like this truck shipped to you. Again, this truck is located in Ventura, CA. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
