2002 Grand Cherokee Laredo Body Condition - Good to very good condition. There are no dents. There is some minor scratches and thats it. NO RUST!!! Wheels are in good condition but need a polish. Chrome still shines but some wheels have some minor peels along the rim. The tires are 1 year old. Mechanical Condition - The engine had a loose wrist pin and had been driving with it knocking for a while. The Piston must have finally came loose and the engine is done. It is a shame as it is a strong inline 6 cylinder with 120K. I changed the oil every 4K miles with Castrol 10W 30. Well that really doesn't matter now. Other needs that I know of: Passenger side window regulator, starter (it has always started for me but sometimes it spins without engaging), and Air Filter. 4 Wheel drive works without a hitch. I used it this pass winter! It also comes with a BRAND NEW Full Sized Spare Tire. Interior Condition - Very good condition. This is an Adult owned, NON-SMOKING, NO KIDS, NO PETS, NO COFFEE DRINKING vehicle. With a good cleaning the interior can be brought back to almost new condition. The vehicle has a Pioneer CD Radio, SIRIUS SATELLITE Ready, and 6 Disc CD Changer. The CD Changer is not hooked up. I did not know how to install the Sirius Module and the Disc Changer together. I will leave the Sirius activated so you can see that it works. I will deactivate once buyer takes the vehicle. This is really a mechanics special. With a new motor this vehicle can be a steal. I hate that it died as it was a perfect car for me. I was using it 2-3 miles a day to drive to the Bus Station for the last 4 years. Please contact me with any questions.
