VERY Nice 1985 300SD until 2002 when I purchased it, this was a FL car and since has never seen salt and has been parked inside unless being driven. Current mileage is a bit over 160k and is subject to change as the car is driven regularly Odometer gear broke three years ago at 156k, All additional mileage has been logged using GPS, (It's sort of a pain to tear the dash apart......although it was on the list of things to do.....it's a fairly easy job but getting in there is a project.) I'll start with the stuff that is wrong radio antenna is broken, has not worked for a while and just a couple weeks ago someone saw fit to snap it offradio surround trim is missinginstalled a new reman a/c compressor which failed within a few days and broke the belt, and the people would not stand behind it, so if you want a/c needs a new compressor and beltsome of the idiot lights have not been reset after repairs have been done. Ex, break pad wear indicator has been on since I got it....I undertand there is a small spring that was likely not replaced or left out.cruise does not workhas an intermittent oil leak, it sometimes is fine for months and other times likes to mark it's territory The GOOD car drives great and straightengine is strong no rustcurrently titled as classic car, One time registration in PA excellent candidate for bio diesel or veggie oil conversionwill probably outlive yougets 24+mpg around townanything you need for the car is still available....great online community for assistance/tipsI think it now qualifies for antique tags....one time registration in PA and NO inspectionNo Stupid SMOG testspower seats and windows and Sunroof fully functional Why am I selling, loss of a significant portion of my income......so the toy/hobby car has to go...other wise I would keep it around just as the spare car it has been.
