Vehicle Detail
1975 ST90 in overall very nice shape. I took a lot of pictures so you can see the condition for yourself because descriptions are so subjective. I will say that its a great looking bike, that isn't perfect - but wouldn't take too much to make it a really fine example. I'll point out a few little things that you should know, but the best thing about this bike is the way it runs. The speedometer shows 875 miles, which I have no reason to doubt. I have owned the bike for years, and the speedometer has always worked, and it doesn't look like its ever been changed. Then engine has a lot of compression, and starts easily on a kick or two, runs quietly with no odd noises, no smoke, and the bike pulls very strong. It shifts nicely through all the gears. Today when I took it out of my shed to take pictures of it after it sat all winter, it started on the 3rd kick. Everything on the bike works with the exception of the turn signals. As you can see, the signals are on the bike, but someone must have disconnected them long ago - the flasher unit (which should be located in the tube behind the seat) is gone. I have never tried to fix the signals, as I haven't ever used it on the road - besides in my neighborhood. The battery is about 2 years old, it still had enough charge to light the neutral light and run the bike today - I'm sure its fine, I put it on the trickle charger. A few things off hand to mention are I noticed a crack in the top of the taillight lens, the left side decal is scratched, the headlight shell works fine, but it is scraped on one side, and fits a little funny. I took pictures of that. Before I got the bike, someone had changed the rear wheel and tire to a larger size. It works great this way, I'm not sure if it is better or worse, but I have the original wheel with sprocket and brake plate that will go with the bike. If you want to put it back on, that's up to you. The chrome is better on the wheel that is on the bike, maybe that is why it was changed. My ebay feedback score is 100% and I want to keep it that way - I want whoever buys this to be happy with it. There is no title for the bike, I will fill out a bill of sale. Ask questions if you have them - I'd be happy to answer. I honestly do not know what it will sell for - there are not a lot of these on ebay, I put what I think is a very reasonable buy it now and reserve. Good luck. I am located about 20 miles west of Baltimore, not far off of I-70. I will not prep the bike for shipping. Either your shipper can pick up the bike (and extra wheel) as is, or you can come pick it up yourself. Paypal deposit of $300 within 24 hours of the end of the auction and balance in cash at time of pickup, or allow a check to clear before the bike can be shipped.
