Vehicle Detail

European Delivery 1933 Plymouth PCXX Coupe - An Original Survivor. Straight and Rust Free. Two taillight model with traficators, (one even works). Runs, Drives and Stops. One repaint since new, Imported from Sweden with Swedish paperwork, Clear Oregon Title, Some extras go with it, including enough NOS cloth to redo the seat, a perfect flying lady radiator cap, owners manual and an original 1933 Plymouth Radio. Apparently the Car was first sold in Warsaw Poland, and survived WWII walled up in a hay loft with a Tatra Rally Car. That is the story that came with the car, I have not been able to substantiate it, however. What it is is an amazing survivor car, perfect for a 100 point restoration or a sympathetic vintage style hot rodding. You won't find another quite like this one. Covered delivery possible in Western USA for expenses. On Feb-27-11 at 12:25:40 PST, seller added the following information: To Answer questions about this being a fully restored car: It is not, nor has it ever been as far as I can tell. It certainly has been maintained and preserved, It has been repainted in Lacquer, before it was imported. I believe the paint to be at least 30 years old. The paint will polish up but there are obvious age blemishes and chips. Beyond that the car shows signs of repair to keep it going. Obviously the brakes have been serviced as have the radiator and carburetor also. There are new floor boards, and an amateurish attempt to carpet them. The seat is original (small mouse damage on passenger edge). I believe the door panels are not original, I am not sure about the headliner. The fellow I bought it from had the bumpers re-chromed. The motor shows 78 years worth of patina, it runs smooth and quiet like most flat heads. Think Preserved and you have this car. It is what it is.On Feb-28-11 at 15:48:57 PST, seller added the following information: Obviously I guessed at the mileage wrong when I first put this up. Ebay won't let me change anything now that there are bids. The Odo says 85,354.5 miles. I have posted new photos of the dash and the engine. Wiring is a mixture of original and amateur, it works ok.
