Vehicle Detail
If you're reading this you certainly know what a Zagato is... This one is a sweetheart with an exceptional body and interior - the two toughest things to find on a Zagato! There really is essentially zero rust, and the paint is in great condition. The dark brown and red interior makes for a beautiful color combination. Absolutely no rips or cracks in the seating - perfect condition! As an awesome bonus, the convertible top and targa roof have been redone in Hartz canvas and both are in fantastic shape -- so much better than the crappy vinyl. The original Cromodora wheels are in nice shape, and the spare is in the trunk. The tires are good quality, but older. The fuel injected Fiat 2000 motor is strong and is not sprouting leaks, and the car starts and drives very well. Brand new 425 cca battery. The AC could use a recharge, or pull it out and free up space and make life a little less complicated. I have a few spare parts that can be included at the right price, including an impossible to get FI intake and a new center console (original one a little cracked from the old radio install.) I have always garaged the car and it shows. All things considered, this an excellent Zagato that can easily be a daily driver. For next to zilch you get one of the most interesting Italian cars of the 1970s-80s, and a perfect little 2+2 roadster for road trips to wine country and Big Sur. On Mar-02-11 at 14:08:38 PST, seller added the following information: Also have the Haynes manual, a few magazine clips and a copy of Sports & Exotics with stories about the Zagato. On Mar-03-11 at 17:56:06 PST, seller added the following information: Dear spanalfa, Hello - sorry I'm just now getting back to email and your questions. Thanks for your bid - it's a great car and I'll miss her a lot! I'll take a look for the engine number - no reason it wouldn't be there, the car is original The bumpers are in fine shape, no problems there one bit. You know about the tail lights! Yes, these are all in perfect shape. I actually have a spare left tail light body and lens that I paid a good sum for, over $150 yikes! Just on impulse because they're impossible to get. You wouldn't need it, but I do have it and should sell it back on eBay to someone who does. I'm more than happy to help out with shipping. Once paid, etc. the car can stay here for as long as you'd need it to, and it would be garaged as it is now. Thanks again, - Jason - j-moore
