1991 Classic Mini - Rover British Open This is a 1991 Rover Mini with the VIN as "SAXXNNAMMBD019726" but I don't know why the listing does not accept it. I have a copy of the German Title certificate and a Ontario Owner Certificate and the VIN are consistent. Therefore I have to use the year of make as 1980. This British Open was imported from Germany. I have all the importation documents. The car is well kept as you know Germany has a very strict safety requirements for mechanical examination every year. It has a very low mileage of 81,000 km (not miles). I was told only 1000 British Open were sold in Germany so it is a rare collectible classic Mini. The front seats were replaced with a set of beautiful and comfortable bucket seats. The wide alloy wheels and tires were installed a year ago and have very low mileage on them. The sliding roof was replaced with the originally OEM manufactured roof. If you have gone to the Mini meets in the last two years in Toronto, you would have seen this Mini. It is a eye turner. The engine has very good power and the gear box is very smooth.It has K&N air filter and a racing exhaust system installed. The car runs with good sound and power at 100 km per hour without problem. The car is currently stored away from the winter and inspection can be arranged. It is a very nice Mini, but it is still a 20 years old car, so it is for sale as is without warranty. US purchaser needs to make their own arrangement for US Customs clearance. The purchaser should also be responsible for picking up the car.
