MOVING - NEED TO MOVE THEM ALONG TO SOMEONE ELSE. TWO CARS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE: $ 1,200.00 - Price is for both cars as a package. Moving - need the garage cleaned out. Will take a motorcycle or similar as trade. 1951 Washington DC Diamond Taxi Cab - Cranbrook Sedan (VIN 12707952) last used between 1952 and 1959 in Washington DC as a Diamond Taxi Cab. This car comes with a sister 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Sedan Parts Car (VIN 12704438). Both cars were delivered to the previous owner in Arlington Virginia in 1960. The Blue Parts Car was driven to its parking spot in 1960 and was left parked outside and was in perfect running condition when parked - it did not move from that spot for 50 years. The Taxi Cab was parked inside a garage for 50 years and was protected from the elements. The paint work is original to the early 1950's. The interior of the car is a combination of colors and much like a taxi cab of today. Both cars have flat 6 cylinder engines and are three speed sticks. The steering works fine as do the brakes and there is minimal rust. The interior of the (taxi) vehicle is in good overall condition and does not smell musty. It looks like the previous owner drove his last passenger to his/her destination and closed the door 50 years ago. The parts car engine has been soaked in Mystery Oil for the last several months and now turns freely by hand but I have not tried to start it. Battery is missing - both of the vehicles are 6 volt - I was told that a Golf Cart Battery will be enough to power this car. Everything is there and the rear driver side fender has been removed as has the engine hood both come with the car and the driver side front fender is in the process of being removed. All glass is in good condition but due to being parked outside for 50 years it has rust on the floor and underside. Back seat is missing. Lots of parts on the car that can be sold to finance the rebuild of the Taxi. The taxi retains the original diamond light for the roof, the original window transportation fee decals around the various zones of Washington DC. Both of the vehicles will come with a Bill of Sale as the titles have been lost over the years. There are several other miscellaneous parts and pieces that come with the cars. The cars are available for inspection in Vienna VA, 22182. Sold as a package deal. The price is for both cars and several miscellaneous parts and pieces. Title can be obtained with ease through: http://www.cartitlesforsale.com/ for $350.00. The vehicles will need to be towed away. Both vehicles are sold with a Bill of Sale and are in AS-IS Condition. Will take a Trade - Motorbike or other possible vehicle trade - let me know what you have. TAGS: Antique, Classic, Plymouth, Taxi, Collector Car, Package Deal, Historic, Chrysler,
