Although this vehicle has over a quarter million miles, the engine is still running well. Was a Connecticut Department of Transportation fleet vehicle in the past. Manual windows and locks, no air conditioning, automatic transmission, two wheel drive, regular cab short bed with heavy duty suspension. There is some rust on the lower portion of the doors, a crack in the windshield, and the transmission was replaced last summer. A short has affected the shifting, a second transmission with only 62,000 miles was put in a month ago, and the shifting problem continues, which suggests this is a computer or sensor related problem. Drives well in the street, does not go into overdrive on highway. Once you go over 50 MPH, it won't go back into 1st gear once you stop, unless you turn the engine off & back on again. Vehicle starts every morning, hauls heavy loads easily, relatively good on gas with 3.9-litre V6. No accidents, clear title, does not leak, does not overheat, does not smoke, and charges properly. The headlights and tail lights were smashed and taped over, and the side view mirrors are home-made.
