Vehicle Detail

This is a fully restored 67 Camero, I am to believe that this was not a factory SS. Therefore I will list it as a retrorod, not a true SS, although the restorer probably produced a better than factory SS. This car was restored by a local Chevy mechanic in about 1996. It was then purchased by a car collector who never drives his cars and I bought it from him, when I built his new storage facility, about 4 years ago, and I rarely drive it. I have pictures of the car before restoration, and it was in very good condition then. This is not a restored beater. He took the car completely apart and sanded it to bare metal, then built it back up to what is now. It is essentially exactly like he finished it 15 years ago and hasn't seen sun, rain, or humidity since then. The engine is a 396 and folks tell me it has the good heads, etc, you can see the pictures. It has a racing radiator, headers, great sound, auto transmission with some kind or shift kit. The car is very fast and will burn rubber without thinking about it. The interior is reupholstered cloth and I don't particularly like it. With some bucket seats and new door panels the interior woulf be perfect, I have some alll electric bucket seats from a Pontiac Blackbird, all else on the interior is fine. But look at the pictures, all rubber is new, the trunk is like showroom, no rust anywhere, the body is very straight, the fit is almost perfect, and very clean. This is probably one of the best examples of a big block Camero around. I'll put in lots of pictures and you can judge for yourself. The only item which doesn't work is the speedometer, I'm told it's not the cable, but the besel. Please contact me for any further info.
