Up for bid is a early 1975 R90S Daytona Orange Gas Tank. The R90S is the only BMW that looked like it was going 100mph while parked on it's side stand. The history of the tank is, I bought a complete but wrecked R90S and used parts to restore my 1974 Silver Smoke 90S. The Gas Tank has a locking cap but I have no idea where the key might be. The tank has no bondo as you can see it's the original shop worn patina. This tank would be a great help in restoring or building a retro R90S. Also has the original gas petcocks.
