I purchased this Van with 32,896 (ACTUAL Mileage on my CLEAR Mass Title) The van now has about 41,000(or less) miles. I used this van on occasion, when a large moving van was needed and since it hasn't been used in the last 3 months, is sitting and could use the room in my driveway. I am selling this truck "for parts/restoration" for several reasons. 1. Under the drivers seat has rot and the front of the drivers seat has become dis-attached, so when you go up a hill, this can be dangerous so will need to be fixed immediately. 2. Though the truck started when I took the pictures, I was surprised. When I went to use the truck a few months ago, it wouldn't start, though I had just had some $700 worth of work done. (such as the fuel filter, which is in the gas tank, I believe the fuel filter also was replaced, something about a control idle valve, and the oxygen sensor) So I believe either the control idle valve is defective, or possibly the fuel pump?), I'm not a mechanic and don't need the van as much as I used to so is in part reason why I am selling. Last year the exhaust was replaced from midway under to the back. A new battery. The van was always dependable until I had the work done on the fuel pump. Again, it did start today, but it might not later tonight, so really those two things need to be worked on. The fuel system (defective parts?) and some welding under the drivers seat. The passenger seat is fully connected and as you can see in the pictures, the door jams all look really good, with no indication that there is rot anywhere on the truck but there is. (see pics for more info). I believe the truck needs brake pads. This van is currently used to store some things in, and all these items will be removed upon the sale of the truck. The truck is inspected until MARCH 2011. All the lights/signals worked fine, though the front right light assembly exterior frame is cracked and missing a piece, but has nothing to do with the functionality of the lights. There is also a generator and CB system installed that I have never tried so have no idea if they work. (this was a former COMCAST Van and you can see the COMCAST under the White paint on the exterior. The tires all have tread but not sure if all have enough to pass a future inspection. Basically, this will make a good van, but will need some work to bring up to snuff. On the possitives, the Van has less than 41,000 original miles, and the motor runs VERY Strong, the Transmission had NO issues and with the exception of the "starting up and stay running" problem, along with the rot under the drivers seat. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I am motivated to get this out of the driveway. But won't give it away. If not sold at a fair price, I'll have no choice but to bring it in for repairs which at this moment, I am trying to avoid since I don't really need the van. Though I'm sure the day it sells, I will! lol I am sure there may be several things that may need to be replaced that I don't know about, keep in mind, this van is 21 years old.
