1961 Ford Unibody - 1/2 ton Short Box I searched for a few years to find a straight Montana short box unibody pickup to convert to the big rear window cab, one of those stock appearing trucks that would leave everyone wondering if it really was factory. One of the many personal projects I was going to build, I accumulated/upgraded pieces over time, new brakes, new shocks, Ford 9” rear axle, new windshield gasket. I have most of the accessories available on these trucks, door map zippered pockets (beer coolers), spotlight bracket, padded visors, deluxe steering wheel, etc... I parted out 2 big window pickups and kept the best parts, the front of the first cab was rusted thru, I spliced in a better cab section from a 2 ton truck, the floor pan is different at the transmission tunnel. I replaced the cab mounts, the steps/sills and back of body will need some work, the cab splice will need finish welding, the patch panels are included. I always wanted to build a big back window cab 1/2 ton short box Ford Unibody, so I searched and finally found a complete big back window cab roof section, including the back window and trim. 2 tailgates are included the better of the two has been sandblasted, it has some rust but easily repairable. The grille and bumper will clean up very well. Chrome 15" wheels are unilug, tires are nearly new. This sale includes only the parts pictured, please ask if you have questions.
