Up for auction is a 1950 chevrolet 3100 half ton pick up. It is as solid as you will ever find. This truck was pulled from a barn, taken apart, blasted and primed and put back together. The frame is solid and has been cleaned and painted black. the cab and fenders and running boards were also very solid with no rust. The cab was in great condition. The drivers side rocker panel was the only thing replaced. The truck is still very original with it's 216 6cyl engine and 3 speed trans. It is still 6 volt with the foot operated starter. Some new things that the truck has is a new wiring harness, new tail lights and brackets, new tailgate with new chain latches, and a new wood kit for the bed. The new bed strips still need to be purchased. This truck runs and drives extremely well. It also has new brakes all the way around with new wheel cylynders as well. All this truck needs is paint to be a super nice truck. There is also a crack in the passengers side windshield. There is no body work to be done. Or you could do the custom thing if thats what you like. Either way , this truck is a great foundation to start with ,with little left to do.
